JESSICA COROTAN

May 5th

Friend. Writer. Truth Seeker. Cancer Survivor. Nature Lover. Blonde Samoan.

We live for the best moments of our lives. Golden hours. Time slows, we smile, peace. But in the hard times, we have the opportunity to learn, grow and discover truth. A diamond refined. The purpose of pain and fear is to immediately call us to attention. When we pay close attention to our thoughts, words and actions, we accept the moment as an opportunity to refine us. To learn our truth and get closer to it. That is a choice. To feel the discomfort and make something from it. Being open and intentional in life’s experiences, especially the challenging ones, doesn’t just provide an opportunity. Being present in that pain IS the path to feel peace and fulfillment in life. That’s how you make a diamond.
